Bro. Edgar Orcales
Bro. Edgar Orcales was born into a Catholic home in the Philippines in 1968. In early adulthood, he became a Jehovah's Witness and was heavily involved in its false works-based salvation teachings. It wasn't until 1986 that he heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Bro. Ed accepted Christ as his Saviour and surrendered to preach shortly thereafter in 1987. Bro. Ed attended the Fundamental Baptist College for Asians where he obtained a B.S. Degree in Theology in 1991 and a Masters in Ministry in 2015. Since 1987, Bro. Ed has worked tirelessly in the northern island of the Philippines, Luzon, preaching the gospel, training pastors, and establishing churches. He has worked in partnership with Bro. Truitt Phillips for almost 10 years. Bro. Ed currently resides in Baguio City with a vision to build 20 churches in the area by 2020.
Bro. Jireh Orcales
Bro. Jireh Orcales is the son of Bro. Ed. After receiving Christ at a young age, Bro. Jireh surrendered to preach at the age of 14. He is now 23 years old and is a graduate of the Independent Baptist College for Asians in Marietta, Ohio. Having just completed his first deputation, Bro. Jireh returned to the Philippines in March 2016. This return to his home country marked the end of his five year stay in the United States to attend Bible College. He is being mightily used of God in his ability to sing, preach, and to reach the lost in the Philippines. Hand in hand with his father, he is working with national pastors in Tuba, the surrounding area near Baguio City, laboring to reach the goal of building 20 churches by 2020.
